Siska serves as program manager with core work in managing and overseeing the delivery of the day to day CISDI’s program activities to ensure prompt and adequate delivery of results, specifically the program related to primary health care. Under her scope of work, she is responsible to lead the annual work plans and results framework in implementing for delivery of results for the program as well as necessary updates. She also contributes to identify strategic program opportunities, approaches and modalities in close collaboration with national development stakeholders and partners. Apart from her responsibility in Program Management, Siska closely works with SUN (Scaling-Up Nutrition) network, a movement to overcome nutrition issues in Indonesia.
Prior to joining CISDI, Siska joined Pencerah Nusantara for a year as public health advocate at Puskesmas Ogotua, a remote area in Toli-toli, Central Sulawesi. During her service, Siska discovered a huge gap of inequality in access to health services in the community. To address the challenge, she consistently advocated the issues to all relevant stakeholders at all levels. Her team’s success in bringing healthcare access closer to unfortunate people drives her to contribute more to society.
During her spare time, Siska has been an active volunteer of Pelita Khatulistiwa, a movement of young people who envision an equal service of electricity in outpost places. The Pelita Khatulistiwa movement has received recognition as one of the innovations in the Indonesia Development Forum. Her interest in community empowerment, lead her to be active as a trainer and mentor for student organizations in developing community empowerment programs in their assisted communities.
Siska believes by joining CISDI, she gains a prestigious opportunity to encourage more active participation from stakeholders to involve in providing equitable access in health development. Her vast expanse of experience in program management and rural development has also motivated her to pursue higher education that will enhance her capacity to create more positive impact to a better Indonesia.
