Enumerators play a key role in collecting quantitative field data for a research project evaluating the impact of digital applications in primary healthcare services. The data will be gathered from community health volunteers and beneficiaries of nutrition services at posyandu. Therefore, Enumerators are expected to have strong data collection and organization skills, as well as good interpersonal abilities to ensure high-quality primary data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s (S1) degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in field surveys and data collection
- Based in Depok City or Bekasi Regency, or willing to travel to these areas during the data collection period
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Non-smoker, or willing to stop smoking if selected
Responsibilities
- Attend a 3-day in-person training prior to fieldwork to understand the study protocol, ethical considerations in data collection, and the research tools to be used
- Coordinate with the field team to identify and recruit eligible respondents in Depok City or Bekasi Regency
- Collect data through field surveys and face-to-face interviews in accordance with the study protocol in Depok City or Bekasi Regency
- Ensure accurate recording and proper storage of field data
- Receive, validate, store, organize, and maintain collected data
- Safely store collected data and ensure all related research documents are properly completed and documented, including informed consent forms, participant incentive receipts, and participant incentive lists
- Adhere to research ethics guidelines and maintain respondent confidentiality
- Follow daily work schedules and complete assigned data collection within the designated timeframe
- Participate in scheduled check-in and debriefing sessions with the direct supervisor and Research Associate, including daily and weekly meetings, to discuss data collection progress
- Complete daily work and participant logs based on actual field activities
- Coordinate with team members to address logistical challenges
- Support the resolution of issues such as low response rates, respondent refusal, or survey misunderstandings
