Anindita Sitepu
About
Anindita served as CISDI Program Director (2014-2019) and is currently active as Senior Manager for Sexual and Reproductive Health at Rutgers, the Netherlands. During her time at CISDI, Anindita has a great interest and commitment to the development of the Indonesia's health sector through her contributions in establishing Pencerah Nusantara, Generasi Kreatif: Penggerak Nusantara, Peta Kemitraan, tobacco control advocacy, formulation of various policy documents, and project designs related to health development in Indonesia. Her passion and extensive experience in intervening social development, equal access to health, youth empowerment and sustainable development, has brought Andita's in her remarkable journey. She has actively engaged and raised her voice in global dialogues that support human rights and equality, such as the UN General Assembly on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in New York during the period of 2013 - 2016. Anindita is interested in discussing the relationship between physical health issues and behavior change, and how young people are key to realizing a healthy paradigm in development. She has been involved in several prominent movements such as the U.S. Mission to ASEAN's Youth Southeast Asian Leaders' Initiatives (YSEALI), and frequently speaks at international and national forums on the important role of women and young people in development. Even before joining CISDI, in 2011 Anindita was also a Program Manager at the Office of the President's Special Envoy for the Millennium Development Goals (KUKPRI-MDGs).
