The New Habit Adaptation has become the government's narrative to signify the relaxation of social restrictions. In other words, the government allows the public to resume activities amid a significant increase in COVID-19 cases. In just the past week, the daily average of cases has reached 1,500. In a matter of days, the number of cases in Indonesia has surpassed the first epicenter, China. Although the Indonesian government feels ready to reopen economic activities, health indicators show the opposite. Epidemiological indicators, health system criteria, and surveillance indicate that no province has met all WHO criteria to reopen the economic wheel.
