The Center for Indonesia's Strategic Development Initiatives (CISDI) published Health Outlook 2022 to provide policy direction recommendations for the Government and as a reference for other stakeholders in determining priorities for improving Indonesia's health policy.
This study assesses the performance of Indonesia's health system in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic according to the World Health Organization's (WHO) outbreak management framework. CISDI developed three scenarios. These scenarios were developed to provide policy approaches and directions for health development in 2022 to policy makers and various development actors. CISDI formulated recommendations for policy improvements entering the third year of the pandemic, based on the challenges of implementing the three alternative scenarios.
